This week, I was mostly focussed on getting passed Samhain, and starting Nanowrimo, so I’ve got a few links to share, some fun stuff to talk about too.
First up, my Nanowrimo page - Kaiberie@Nanowrimo, cause everyone knows that I’m always at something for Nanwrimo. And as this is my 19th year, it felt only right to talk about my Nanowrimo Love story, aka, how Nanowrimo changed my life. I’d also like to add this is a ‘sick bucket’ post, aka, it’s really mushy. I’m unashamedly a couple of things - geeky, in love and a writer. This touches on all three.
On the 29th, I also started talking about a year of changing my life, and how I wanted to move on with my life. That’s a free post on Medium, but some will be subscribing later.
I also put out my monthly newsletter - well, it’s really supposed to be biweekly, but we’ll see.
And then I started Nanowrimo, and you can see our pep talk on my Medium.
A week today….
Well, those of you that know me well will know it’s my 43rd birthday a week today. Those of you that don’t…I just told you. I had hoped my last year was going to be something special, and in some ways it was. Just not quite the way I planned. I’m revising everything as we go, but I’m hoping this is my pivot year. If it’s not though, I’ll adapt.
I have a retrospective next week, but I’ve come a long way, as have my family. We’ve had a set of changes in our lives, which have been great, so I’m not unhappy that things happened the way they did, but… I’ve got to be honest, it wasn’t what I planned.
I’ll talk about that next week though, I guess ;)
How are you guys doing?
